Microsegmentation helps in creating secure zones in data centers and cloud deployments which allow companies to separate workloads and secure them individually.

“We have 7,900 employees who are working from home. All are enabled using a zero trust network,” Mishra says.

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Mishra also discusses:

  • How organizations can take a zero trust approach;
  • Whether zero trust is basically old wine in a new bottle;
  • How microsegmentation has helped in the COVID-19 environment.

Mishra is global head, IT infrastructure and security at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he is responsible for managing IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity of R&D and manufacturing facilities across the globe. He has more than 19 years of experience in leading and managing global IT infrastructure and security programs.
