Singapore Cyber Agenda 2016-17
Singapore is a highly connected country where essential services, businesses and people have become very reliant on digital technologies and network-connectivity. Singapore, has also seen its share of cyber-attacks that have highlighted the vulnerability of its ICT technologies.
With cyber threats growing in sophistication, cybersecurity cannot be taken for granted and a robust cybersecurity strategy for Singapore is needed to develop the capabilities to secure the cyberspace for businesses and the community.
Resilience of the critical ICT infrastructure, a vibrant national ecosystem of cybersecurity professionals, and the strengthening of international ties are some of focal points that are forerunners to a secure cyberspace. In addition, this keynote will look at what should be the long term vision for such a strategy and how can various stakeholders work together to embrace and enhance cybersecurity while harnessing the benefits of technology to improve lives and businesses.
