Manoj Sharma has been associated with Symantec for nearly 20 years. But during that time he did not see seismic changes like the ones that have altered the cybersecurity landscape over the past 15 months. He shares insights on how to secure the new extended enterprise.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group as part of its RSA Conference 2021 coverage, Sharma discusses:

  • Key strategies for cloud security;
  • How to unify the user experience;
  • Mitigating the risks of unmanaged devices.

As global head of security strategy, Sharma leads the team of security strategists and works hand in hand with customers to build a strategy for and adoption of Security-in-the-Cloud and Security-for-the-Cloud solutions. He has been associated with Symantec Corp. for the past 19 years and has more than 21 years of experience in the technology industry. Sharma has worked in a number of roles, from running and managing IT operations to working with Symantec’s strategic customers globally, providing them with the best solutions to their critical business requirements related to cybersecurity and application optimization.
