"The attackers' techniques are still the same … according to our research," Kudrati says. "We are seeing phishing attacks being targeted at Ukraine soldiers. We are seeing disk-wiping malware targeted at critical infrastructure as part of the attack chain, and the Actinium group is targeting Ukrainian organizations."

Kudrati is Microsoft Asia’s lead chief cybersecurity adviser for the security solutions area. He also serves as an executive adviser to Deakin University, La Trobe University, the HITRUST Asia Advisory Council, EC Council-Asia and several security and technology startups. He supports the broader security community through his work with ISACA chapters and student mentorship.
