"A CISO is now expected to be both technically inclined to the newer technologies as well as aligned to the business. So it is a game a CISO has to balance out very efficiently," Talwar says.
"I believe a CISO role has taken a 360-degree turn. The boards are expecting a CISO to directly work with them in many organizations."
