Reflecting on the deal, which must still obtain regulatory approval, NTT Security's Khiro Mishra and WhiteHat Security's Craig Hinkley say the combination will help bring more application development security - and DevSecOps - products, services and smarts to more organizations, in part via WhiteHat Security's application security platform.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2019 in San Francisco, Mishra and Hinkley discuss:

  • What the acquisition means for NTT;
  • WhiteHat Security's view of the acquisition;
  • How both businesses see the way forward;
  • The timing of the deal.

Mishra is the global chief security architect officer of NTT Security. Hinkley is CEO of WhiteHat Security.
