Mumbai Cybersecurity Summit: A Preview
Security Thought Leaders to Share Insights on the State of Cybersecurity in 2024Amid growing cybersecurity threats and the rapidly evolving digital landscape, Information Security Media Group will kick off its flagship Cybersecurity Summit in Mumbai on Nov. 13, bringing together India's top infosecurity experts, practitioners and thought leaders to discuss the most pressing concerns, challenges and opportunities shaping the country's cybersecurity landscape in 2024.

The premier in-person conference - largest-of-its-kind - will welcome more than 250 cybersecurity professionals to explore India's cybersecurity initiatives, the recently introduced Digital Personal Data Protection Act, threats to critical infrastructure security, IoT risks and other pressing issues.
The conference will open with an insightful session by Tata Communications' Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer Jaspal Singh Sawhney, who will demystify India's new personal data protection law. This will be followed by a keynote speech from Devesh Vatsa, cybersecurity advisor at the Data Security Council of India, on empowering modern CISOs to build resilience, establish cybersecurity accountability across the organization, engage the board and break down departmental silos.
The event will also feature panel discussions with the country's top cybersecurity decision-makers on how AI-powered tools boost the effectiveness of cybersecurity defenses, strategies to implement threat-intelligence-based mitigations in OT environments, balancing API security and innovation, practical steps for managing post-breach response, and the technologies CISOs can use in 2025 to drive enterprise growth.
To add greater depth to conversations around core cybersecurity issues and challenges, the summit will host fireside chats with experts such as GreenPoint Global's CISO Pramod Dubey, ColorTokens' Global Head and Chief Customer Success Officer Raja Ukil, Protean eGov Technologies CISO Sunil Kulkarni and Bank of Baroda's Chief Internal Auditor Ganesh Ramakrishnan.
