Dynamic CISO Award Winner Vaibhav Tole Shares Cyient's Skills Development Program
Information Security Media Group presented the 2023 Dynamic CISO Award to Vaibhav Tole, director of global cybersecurity at Cyient, who developed skills internally and created a team to handle incident response in-house. ISMG caught up with Tole in March to understand how he is doing more with less these days.

Tole said incident response offers unique opportunities for skills transfer. "An incident response program has many things tied to it - root cause analysis, containment, etc. In order to make people aware of all aspects, I keep rotating people in various roles," he said. "I keep moving people between vulnerability management, threat hunting and incident response. This has often helped the teams come out with unique solutions to solve a problem."
