Cybersecurity in Nepal: Essential Steps

Pant also is calling on the government to take action.
“IT-SERT is advocating Nepal government to establish a threat monitoring center at the national level under the aegis of science and technology ministry to garner threat intelligence from varied sources, and come up security policy guidelines for enterprises to help detect threats early,” he says in a video interview with Information Security Media Group.

- How to enhance the capacity and capabilities of law enforcement in thwarting cybercrimes
Pant is the founder of Information Technology Security Emergency Response Team in Nepal. Earlier, he was for PKI implementation in developing countries and served as an IT controller at the ministry of science and technology in Nepal. He is the former general secretary of the Computer Association of Nepal and a member of the Management Association of Nepal.
