Yam is the head of the transition & steering office of Deutsche Bank. Prior to this role, she was the global head of identity & access quality and compliance with the bank. She has been working in the IT, information security and risk management space in the financial services world for more than 20 years at global banks like Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase based in Singapore. She has been mainly responsible for leading, managing and driving the information security, IT risk, control and audit functions across the banking businesses globally. She specializes in information security, IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC), IT audit, business continuity/disaster recovery, ITIL v3. She was appointed subject matter expert (SME) by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in 2006, for reviewing and writing questions for CISSP and ISSMP examinations.
