AI and ML: 'Game Changer' for Cybersecurity Data

Threat detection is a data-intensive process, and artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies can help security teams gain insights faster. But to get the most out of AI and ML, Kotak Securities CISO Girish Dixit advised organizations to create AI models tailored to the organization's nuances.

"AI/ML will definitely be a game changer," Dixit said. "It will help the organizations and CISOs to detect and respond in a quicker fashion." But he added that the implementation is crucial to the success of the system. "It's very important to have that larger picture, not just look at something with a very specific, tool-based approach or look at a larger, threat-based approach."
